    This Refund Policy outlines JobTailor's refund procedures for credit purchases and paid services. Please read this carefully before making a purchase.

    1. Refund Eligibility

    • Unused credits: Refunds for unused credits are available within 7 calendar days of purchase, provided no documents have been generated using those credits.
    • Used credits: No refunds are provided for credits that have been used to generate documents. A credit is considered "used" once a document generation request is submitted.
    • Promotional or bonus credits: Promotional, trial, or bonus credits are non-refundable under any circumstances.
    • Account deletion: Refunds cannot be issued after your account has been deleted. Any remaining credits are forfeited upon account deletion.

    2. How to Request a Refund

    To request a refund for unused credits, please contact us at contact@jobtailor.org within 7 days of your purchase with the following information:

    • Your account email address
    • The date of the credit purchase
    • The amount or number of credits purchased
    • A clear statement that you wish to refund unused credits

    3. Refund Processing Timeline

    Once a valid refund request is received and verified, we will process the refund within 10–15 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note that your financial institution may require an additional 3–5 business days to credit the funds to your account.

    4. No Refund for Service Suspension or Termination

    If JobTailor suspends or terminates your account due to violation of our Terms of Service, you forfeit any remaining credits and are not eligible for refunds. This includes termination for abusive behavior, fraud, illegal use, or breach of our acceptable use policy.

    5. Exceptions & Legal Compliance

    This refund policy complies with applicable consumer protection laws. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with mandatory refund rights (e.g., EU consumer law), those rights take precedence and are honored regardless of this policy. In such cases, you may be eligible for refunds beyond the terms outlined above. Please contact us for details specific to your jurisdiction.

    6. Chargebacks & Disputes

    If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with your financial institution without first attempting to resolve the matter with us, JobTailor reserves the right to:

    • Suspend your account immediately
    • Terminate your access to the Service
    • Forfeit any remaining credits
    • Pursue legal remedies as permitted by law

    7. Changes to This Policy

    JobTailor may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
