Terms of Service

1. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
• You are responsible for providing accurate account information and for safeguarding your credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

2. Billing Model & Credit Purchases

JobTailor operates on a credit-based model. You purchase credit packs to generate documents. Credits are not subscriptions and do not automatically renew—you purchase them as needed, one time per purchase. Unused credits remain in your account until you use them or request deletion.

• Pricing and credit amounts are subject to change at our discretion, with notice provided to active users.
• All credit purchases are charged in advance at the time of purchase.
• Credits are non-transferable to other accounts.

3. Refunds & Returns

Refunds are available under the terms outlined in our dedicated Refund Policy. In summary:

• Refunds are available for unused credits only, within 14 days of purchase.
• Used credits are non-refundable, except as required by law.
• Free or promotional credits cannot be refunded.
• All refund requests must be submitted in writing and may be subject to verification.

4. Payment Processing & Billing Information

Credit purchases are processed through third-party payment processors. We do not directly store your full payment card information. Your payment data is handled by our payment processors in accordance with their privacy policies and PCI compliance standards. You are responsible for keeping your payment information accurate and up to date. JobTailor is not responsible for payment failures due to outdated or incorrect payment information.

5. User content & license

You retain ownership of any content you upload or provide to the Service ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content you grant JobTailor a limited, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable license to host, store, display and otherwise use Your Content to provide and improve the Service and for security, abuse prevention, and analytics. You represent and warrant you have the rights to provide Your Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

6. Acceptable use & prohibited activities

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited activities include:

• Using the Service for illegal activities, fraud, or to infringe others' rights.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, exploit, or compromise our systems or security.
• Uploading malware, viruses, or other harmful content.
• Collecting or scraping data from the Service for unauthorized purposes.

7. AI features & disclaimers

JobTailor may provide AI-assisted features to help generate or suggest content. AI outputs are based on patterns and predictions and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. You must not rely solely on AI outputs for important decisions. JobTailor is not responsible for the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated content.

We take steps to scrub and anonymize personal data before sending it to third-party AI providers where external processing is necessary, and we contractually restrict providers from using your data to train their general-purpose models where required by our agreements. However, no automated process is perfect—do not submit highly sensitive personal data in prompts.

8. Third-party services & links

The Service may integrate or link to third-party services (payment processors, analytics, job boards, AI providers). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. JobTailor is not responsible for third-party actions or content.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, for abuse, or for safety and security reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We may retain copies of Your Content as required for legal or business purposes.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless JobTailor and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Warranty disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. JOBTAILOR DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL JOBTAILOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. JOBTAILOR'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR DIRECT DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU ACTUALLY PAID TO JOBTAILOR IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (USD $100).

13. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in the Service and its content are owned by JobTailor or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted.

14. Dispute resolution & governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which JobTailor is incorporated (currently the United States), without regard to conflict of laws principles. You agree that disputes will be resolved in the competent courts located in that jurisdiction, unless otherwise agreed. 15. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Miscellaneous

• If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder will remain in force.
• These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and JobTailor regarding the Service.
